Sony HDC-F5500 4K/HD Camera System
The Sony HDC-F5500 Super 35mm 4K CMOS Camera System is the newest addition to Sony’s camera lineup with global shutter sensor.
The extraordinary performance of this new camera system takes live entertainment production to the next level. Building on the success of Sony’s acclaimed HDC-5500, the Sony HDC-F5500’s Super 35mm 4K CMOS sensor delivers extraordinary clarity, realism and shallow depth of field with every scene, from wide beauty shots to tight close-ups. Numerous workflow enhancements – including IP networking, remote multi-camera operation and in-CCU recording improve the most demanding live entertainment productions including sport, music and drama.
At the heart of this camera system is Sony’s Super 35mm 4K CMOS sensor. Bringing new creative possibilities to live production, the HDC camera series, this large sensor achieves high sensitivity with an impressive signal-to-noise ratio. It’s teamed with proven global shutter technology to capture stable, precise 4K (UHD) images even with fast-moving subjects: ideal for sport and live entertainment productions involving LED displays and laser beams.

Arri Alexa 35 Camera
ALEXA 35 is a 4K Super 35 camera that elevates digital cinematography to unprecedented heights. ARRI’s first new sensorfor 12 years builds on the evolution of the ALEXA family over that period, delivering 2.5 stops more dynamic range, film-like highlight handling, better low light performance, and richer colours.
The new REVEAL Colour Science takes full advantage of the sensor’s image quality and provides a fast, simple workflow, while ARRI Textures enhance in-camera creative control. Easy operation, robust build quality, new electronic accessories, and acomplete new mechanical support system round out the ALEXA 35 platform.
Sony ILME-FX3 Camera
The Sony Alpha FX3 ILME-FX3 is a compact and lightweight Cinema Line camera designed for professional use. It features a 4K full-frame back-illuminated CMOS Exmor R sensor with a 15+ stop dynamic range and ISO expandable up to 409600 for low light conditions. It also offers cinematic expressions with 16-bit RAW, S-Log3, and S-Cinetone picture profiles. The camera is designed for solo-shooting with its 715g weight and includes a fast, precise, and customizable autofocus system. It also has a rugged magnesium body and heat dissipation system for reliable and uninterrupted 4K 60p recording.
The FX3 has recently released a firmware update version 5.00 which allows for direct uploading of camera images to the Creators Cloud app and displays the Wi-Fi signal strength. It also fixes various issues and improves the exposure stability and operational stability of the camera. The FX3 is designed for the future of cinematic expressions and can be paired with UWP-D wireless audio for crisp and dependable audio. Its full-frame image sensor and wide dynamic range allow for stunning bokeh and full-frame creativity, while its S-Cinetone color profile provides rich colors and natural skin tones. The camera also offers 4K 120fps recording and 10-bit S-Log3 and HDR recording for smooth gradations.
